The number of small fishing boats distributed to 250 families hit by SuperTyphoon Haian, in Dolores, Eastern SamaR. This was the world’s strongest typhoon to hit landfall in recorded history. At P5K per boat, this Project raised P1,250,000 pesos worth of boats from ordinary folk including school children who raised money by collecting and selling old newspapers, for instance.

The money was pooled by local employees of the international cosmetics company, Estee Lauder, who decided to partner with us for execution.
