Our Focus Area Service
Team Heads
Every member of our club belongs to a Focus Area Service Team (FAST) to ensure there is equity in time, and talent contributions to our broad portfolio of humanitarian work.
Each team is led by a club member and is the focal person for planning, and monitoring service projects and programs. Known as FAST Heads, they are the deputies of the Managing Director leading overall Community Service.
The Focus Area Service Teams (FAST) are grouped according to the 6 Focus Areas of Rotary International: Maternal and Child Health, Education and Literacy, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water and Sanitation, Peace and Conflict Resolution, and Economic and Community Development.
Within these Focus Area Service Teams, there is at least one club member overseeing each of the five Rotary Avenue of Service: club service, community service, vocational service, youth service, international service.
