Retinoblastoma Life-SavingTreatment for Indigent Pediatric Cancer Patients
The second arm of our Alay-Buhay Project involves patients afflicted with Retinoblastoma. Retinoblastoma is a malignant condition in the eye that usually affects patients from 2 to 10 years old. Unlike any other childhood malignancies, Retinoblastoma, once diagnosed and treated correctly and early, has a good prognosis in terms of survival. In this program, we cover the complete chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment of the patients.
